My client is a Global Network Operator that provides Connectivity, IP Transit, Ethernet, MPLS, Cloud, IaaS, Virtualisation, Hosting, Colocation, Security and Managed Services to organisations within the Finance, Professional Services, Oil & Gas and Telecommunication sectors. Their global network is spread across 20 countries offering data centre facilities in over 70 Points of Presence worldwide.
 
They are currently seeking a customer facing technical professional that has a solid understanding of enterprise networking technologies, including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers and WAN optimization technologies. You will be responsible for the solution architecture and design of complex technologies, whilst presenting technical whiteboard demonstrations to C-level business owners.
 
They are ideally seeking someone that has come from a carrier background with previous knowledge of the Financial Market place and low latency trading.
 
You can expect a salary in the region of £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience) along with an additional £20,000 performance related bonus.
